Churches of the Connexion

The Countess of Huntingdon's Connexion is made up of  congregations in the UK and those in Sierra Leone (see Sierra Leone Mission). Today 21 congregations meet in the English Connexion. Meetings vary in style with some held in Chapels and others in modern surroundings or even schools, maintaining an evangelical witness in towns or villages, mainly in the southern half of England.

An introduction is avalable in a new leaflet available at churches but in pdf here

Geographically today's churches are widely scattered—ranging from Middleton in the north, St. Ives in Cornwall, Ely in Cambridgeshire to Eastbourne in Sussex.

Churches meet together at The Annual Conference , bringing together delegates from the various churches. In recent years this has usually been held at the High Leigh Conference Centre in Hertfordshire. A Youth Conference is usually held at Easter-time often based on one of the Connexional churches.

Of the churches in the Connexion six normally have full time pastors — Eastbourne, Ely, Goring, St. Ives and Turners Hill, Ebley  Attendance at churches totals approx 1,000 adults and children.

Many of the Connexion churches have websites of their own. Should you wish to find out of there is a church local to you , or otherwise contact the Connexion, please complete the email enquiry form.

Each church has a page on this website with a short summary and contact detail or web link which can be directly accessed. Should you wish to contact the Connexion directly, please use the " Contact me" form.
